We all went to see Jason Aldean and Miranda Lambert at the Pengrowth Saddleback in Calgary Stampede Park. All of us were not Country Western fans but went for the experience.
Here we are waiting to start:
Well, it was an experience. The music was loud (but not as much as for most rock bands), and the drinkers were enthusiastic. We sat through Miranda, but about half way through Jason’s set, we decided that there were too many drunks around us to enjoy the rest of the concert.
We left the concert at about 10. You can see how light it still was:
There were still plenty of places to get something to either eat or drink. It was Saturday night at the Stampede!
The carnival rides were still going strong.
