Our apartment in Vancouver was fairly luxurious, at least compared to tenting in the Rockies. For an idea of the night time view from our balcony, check out this video:
Here are some interesting buildings in our immediate vicinity:
There was an interesting outdoor art exhibit a block away.
This water feature was just outside our apartment building. They do have water “to burn” in Canada.
This store was a high end grocery store about a block from us. We were amazed that such a store could exist downtown in a large city. The produce was very fresh and of high quality.
There were flowers everywhere. I don’t know who maintained them.
This plaza was about two blocks from our apartment. Again, when in doubt, Vancouverians put up some kind of water feature.
This sculpture was in the same plaza.
